Chris Kvaka was born on August 3, 1989 with a mechanical mind and an ear for music. Throughout his younger days most of his time was spent playing music and fixing anything that had an engine while managing to make it go fast. When he grew older, he found himself working in landscaping. With his love for speed and mechanical thinking, he began saving up his money to buy his first hot rod. Through his high school days he worked at a local garage by the name of Marc Automotive. Marc Gloeckner, owner of Marc Automotive, and Chris Kvaka made a fabulous team and really made the business come alive. With Marc's teachings and Chris' ambition, Marc Automotive will always be a key step in Chris' ladder to success.

Directly out of high school, Chris started working for Newman Racing. He started to crew for Paul Newman's GT-1 Corvette and Michael Brockman's GT-1 Camaro; which were the two drivers for Newman Racing. After his first race with the team he quickly became one of the lead mechanics for the Newman Racing team. Later that year Chris formed his own little race team and drove Paul Newman's 1937 Ford Coupe Legends Race Car. With the help of the Newman Racing team and his crew chief Art Bibbins, Chris embarked on his career as an amateur race car driver. In addition to his racing career, his interests include: music, modeling, acting and obtaining a degree in business and mechanical engineering.
